On February 14th, a little after 11 a.m., an unknown source ignited a fire on the 15th floor of a high-rise building under construction in West Palm Beach. The construction crew had access to a fire extinguisher and attempted to put out the fire. The height of the fire presented challenges for firefighters. It took 30 firefighters to safely evacuate 220 construction workers and extinguish the blaze. West Palm Beach officials are still investigating this high-rise construction fire.
