On July 22nd, a large fire erupted at a distribution warehouse in Robbinsville, New Jersey. The approximate 350,000 sq. ft. building is used to store medical supplies and products. Mercer County Fire Department was on the scene in minutes on Saturday evening. The fire triggered a three-alarm response, prompting the dispatch of additional rescuers from Monroe Township, Bordentown Township, Bordentown City, Windsor Township, and East Windsor Township. Fortunately, there were no injuries sustained as a result of the fire.

McKesson Corporation is a supplier of pharmaceutical equipment, supplies, and products. The start of the fire was caused by the building’s solar panels on the roof. The firefighters’ prompt response saved the building, preserving millions of dollars of products stored in the warehouse. The rescuers advanced hose lines and set up master streams to swiftly control the fast-burning fire. 911 received the call reporting the fire a little after 5:00 PM, and they managed to extinguish it in under two hours.
